Law minister reads riot
- After the ugly incident on Monday, the Karnataka government directed lawyers to behave in future. Law and parliamentary affairs minister S Suresh Kumar met Advocates' Association of Bangalore office-bearers and media association representatives to discuss the advocates' unruly behaviour and assault on journalists on Monday.
It is learnt the advocates' association agreed to offer an unconditional apology, meet the medical expenses of an injured journalist, compensate the losses, and take stern action against those who took the law into their hands.
