BSY has his way on core committee:

However, the surprise appointment to the panel of water resources minister Basavaraj Bommai, being targeted by the Reddy camp, gave rise to another barrage of barbs between Yeddyurappa and the Reddys on the eve of the panel’s first meeting here. If Yeddyurappa buckles under pressure and drops Bommai, public works minister C M Udasi, another of his close confidantes, will be the replacement. The core committee, part of the deal during the recent political crisis and demanded by the Reddy camp, will oversee functioning of the state affairs. Yeddyurappa and his staunch followers — V S Acharya, R Ashoka, Visvesvara Hegde Kageri, S Suresh Kumar, Katta Subramanya Naidu and Basavaraj Bommai — are on it.
